Sunflower Lane

In her ongoing project Sunflower Lane, Marlike Marks photographs the shared garden she tends with friends — a quiet refuge at the edge of the city. Within this intimate space, human presence and nature merge. By focusing on subtle details such as skin catching light or the texture of a leaf, she reveals the slow rhythms of growth, closeness, and time passing.

Her images invite a sense of stillness and reflection in a world that often moves too fast. Not as documentation, but as an invitation to linger, as if you were lying in the grass yourself, feeling the sunlight touch your skin.
