In Under the Same Sun, Sanne Romeijn reflects on what it means to come of age as a millennial — a generation shaped by the rise of the internet, a changing climate, and shifting expectations.

The series began in 2019, when she decided to travel the world to step away from the fast pace of life in the Netherlands and create space for new perspectives. Moving intuitively from place to place, she combines portraits and landscapes made along the way, from quiet corners of the American South to a small apartment in Vienna.
