◼︎ Dineke Versluis

Rotterdam-based photographer Dineke Versluis moves between observational photography and studio practice and is interested in where people live, work and spend their leisure time.

She uses road trips to find sites and situations that are often devoid of human activity. While looking for scenes to illustrate her topic, she chooses a couple of destinations on the map to then change course freely, guided by whatever or whoever comes on her path.

In her studio she explores the idea of making new connections and changing persepective by using and repurposing existing images. Through minimal interventions she reshapes her photographs into new compositions.

Her work is part of various private, public and corporate collections.
